Travel documents and formalities

To forget any document needed for your trip could oblige us to cancel your flight with Gabon Airlines, at your own responsability. This is why we do invite you to pay the greatest attention to have all of the required documents with you before you start your journey.

Passport and visas

A valid passport is necessary to travel on most of our flights. Make sure the validity date is long enough to cover the whole length of your trip. Please take note that some countries require a minimum validity of 4 to 6 months.
Visas depend on your destination country, but also on your nationality and the reason of your trip (business, tourism, studies, etc). Don’t forget to take in account the time of getting them when you schedule your journey.
Gabon Airlines recommends you to take with you photocopies of all your travel documents.

For the European citizens, maximum length of stay = 3 months. 7 days required to obtain your visa (Visa Department is closed on Friday). Cost = 55€ for a business or tourism visa.
There is no visa delivered upon arrival at Libreville airport.

Vaccinations

Specific vaccinations can be required by the health authorities of your destination country. Don’t forget that some vaccinations need more than one injection and/or a minimum time of immunization before travelling.
For those travelling to Gabon, please take note that yellow fever vaccination is mandatory and checked upon arrival.

Customs

Each country has its own custom and sanitary regulations to comply with, including for the currency transfer, the transport of alcohol, tobacco, food or any other product of animal and plant origin. Please make sure you are correctly informed before starting your journey.

Regarding entry to France, importation of animal or plant and derived objects are generally strictly controlled and very often forbidden.
